BioMedware has been awarded a SPARK Business Accelerator Grant to fund professional services for marketing by Merithot Creative Marketing and for sales by Maximus Ventures. The goal is to accelerate consumer adoption of BioMedware’s new product, Vesta. The proposal was first reviewed by Ann Arbor SPARK and then by Ann Arbor’s Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA). It was approved on March 13, 2023.
SPARK business acceleration grants bridge the financial resource gap that many startups face. By providing growth-driven funds, entrepreneurs can achieve specific milestones that will help advance a startup’s path to commercialization and profitability. Eligible companies can request funding to pay for legal, marketing, and professional services such as intellectual property concerns, marketing strategy development, and project consulting.
