Analyzing Data in Vesta

As is natural, people are interested in what can be learned or inferred from data. Some sort of data processing is required to extract an explanation for data behaviors, and often the data can help answer questions that may not have clear answers.

Vesta offers a range of analysis methods. The Analysis Preparation menu category is where users can start who are not familiar with the various analysis options in Vesta. Continue through the subsequent pages to learn more before getting into the advanced concepts described in the pages of the Analysis Methods category.

Because of the breadth of available options, the documentation separates Geostatistics into a unique menu category so as not to overwhelm users with the available methods.

The Analyze Hub

Analyses are run from the Analyze hub in the main rail (see Navigating Vesta). One Guided Analyze wizard now runs every analysis method in Vesta. Choose Automatic, Guided, or Full control guidance depending on how much control you want over the method's parameters, and finish with a plain-language summary explaining what your result means.
